Dentistry Admissions Process – Dr. Rojin Kiani | Pre-Dental Association



Dr. Kiani has been practicing dentistry for almost 2 years now in her hometown, Vancouver, BC. Dr. Kiani completed her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology & Health Sciences in 2015 followed by her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at University of British Columbia. Since graduation in 2020, Dr. Kiani has been practicing general dentistry in Vancouver with her passion to expand her scope to cosmetic dentistry (Invisalign, botox, veneers, Bioclear) as well. Dr. Kiani is a member of Canadian Dental Association, Canadian Dental Surgeons of BC, BC Dental Association, American Dental Association, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists. She is board certified to practice dentistry in both Canada and the US.

Dr. Kiani is passionate about educating the next generation of prospective dentists and help pre-dental students excel at their admission process and interviews. In 2018, she and her partner (UBC MD graduate) created an MMI practice app called ‘Pocket Medical Interview’ that contains over 500 practice MMI questions with a built in timer and sample answers. Dr. Kiani believes that with hard work, perseverance, and sacrifice anything is possible. She encourages pre-dental students to persist and keep applying to dental school because in her words “dentistry is so worth all the effort”!
